Support Our Project: How You Can Help Us Complete Construction

We're so close to the finish line. Will you help us get there?

Since breaking ground on our micro-shelter village in 2023, we've made remarkable progress toward creating a solution that works for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in Tillamook County. But rising material costs and unexpected expenses have left us $200,000 short of completing this vital project.

The Impact We're Already Making

With just our current limited capacity of 6 micro-shelters and a part-time warming shelter, we've been able to:

  • Provide shelter to 71 individuals last year alone

  • Successfully transition 8 people into permanent housing in 2024

  • Offer emergency warming shelter on the coldest nights when temperatures drop to 35°F or below

Imagine what we could accomplish with your help to complete our vision.

What Your Donation Will Fund

Your contribution will help us complete:

  • 14 additional micro-shelters, more than tripling our current capacity

  • A 400-square-foot conduit shelter open 365 days a year for night-by-night sheltering

  • A no-barrier facility where anyone can find safety, regardless of their circumstances

A Practical Approach That Works

Our approach is built on proven results and fiscal responsibility. We understand the importance of addressing homelessness with solutions that:

  • Promote self-sufficiency - Studies consistently show that when the constant anxiety of finding nightly shelter is removed, individuals can focus on employment, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.

  • Strengthen community safety - By providing safe, monitored shelter, we reduce the negative impacts of unsheltered homelessness in our public spaces and business districts.

  • Uphold personal responsibility - We provide the foundation for individuals to take meaningful steps toward independence and contribution to our community.

A Smart Investment for Our Community

Research consistently shows that every dollar invested in homelessness prevention returns approximately $7 in reduced public service costs. This represents significant savings in emergency medical services, law enforcement, judicial system expenses, and other taxpayer-funded resources.

Your donation isn't just charitable giving—it's a smart investment in reducing the economic burden of homelessness on our entire community.

We Need Your Help Now

Whether you contribute $50, $500, or $5,000, your gift will make a tangible difference in completing this project and transforming lives in our community.
